Position Overview:

Manufacturing Operators play a critical role in the production of animal-origin peptones. This position involves routine exposure to chemicals and raw animal tissues and requires working in an environment with strong odors from animal materials and processing chemicals.

Responsibilities:

Set up and load materials into vacuum dryers Perform routine cleaning, sanitization, and basic equipment checks, ensuring accurate documentation Operate pallet jacks to move raw materials and finished products Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs), Good Documentation Practice (GDP), batch records, and safety guidelines Inspect finished products for defects or deviations from specifications Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient production and timely processes Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Safety glasses, steel-toe boots, hair nets, and beard nets (where applicable) Additional PPE (Tyvek suits/lab coats, face shields, various gloves) may be required depending on tasks
