Specific areas of responsibility include:
HCl Recovery Storage and Trailer Loading HCl trailer purging bay S-45 purging of HCl trailers TCS/STC Storage and Trailer Loading and Off Loading Chemical Sale Storage and Loading Testing Distribution Headers in Plants 1, 2 and 3 Trailer Purging and Prepping for Maintenance This role is accountable for all aspects of department performance including Safety & Environment, Quality, Reliability, Production, and Productivity. Essential Functions Responsible for operation and maintenance of manufacturing assets in disciplined manner adhering to all regulatory and site management systems including thorough completion of process rounds. Recognize, react to, and escalate Abnormal Situations to Shift leader. Participate in shift exchange for area. Responsible for completion of shift exchange and up to date completion of instructional documentation (including SOP, SMP, SWI, SKP, TWI or any other temporary or permanent approved procedures) and shift communication. Responsible for completing all purging, prepping, lock-outs safely and according to site standard to ensure the autonomous maintenance work in the area is on schedule. Writes safe work permits in areas as directed. Responsible for escalation of equipment issues to Shift leader. Additional Duties/Responsibilities Participate in Behavior Based Safety program Responsible for creation of high quality work notifications Provide feedback to Operational Excellence and Training team for instructional documentation improvement, modification and completeness. Participate in Continuous improvement program by generating and communicating ideas to improve the technology and process operations for higher quality, lower cost, safer and more reliable operation. - Situational Adaptability Required Work Experience Must meet HSC P&M hiring requirements Must currently hold and maintain a valid drivers license Education Requirements High School Diploma GED Environment/Working Conditions This job involves a high percentage of time spent on physical activities such as climbing stairs and ladders, bolting and unbolting flanges, prepping trailers for maintenance, operating large manual valves, and tracing lines through crowded pipe racks.
