Full-time, Monday through Thursday (4 x 10-hour shifts)
Wage:
$16.50/hour Position Summary The Assembly Associate is a key member of our production team, responsible for assembling picture frames, components, and related products with precision and consistency. This position involves both independent tasks and team-based workflows and requires a strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a commitment to quality standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Product Assembly Assemble wood, metal, and composite picture frames using hand tools and pneumatic equipment Install backing, glass/acrylic, hanging hardware, and mats per order specs Conduct visual and tactile inspection of materials for defects, scratches, or fit issues Maintain pace with production requirements and daily quotas Workstation & Materials Restock workstations with frames, glues, clamps, fasteners, wire kits, and spacers Notify team lead or supervisor of material shortages or quality issues Follow proper handling procedures for fragile items such as glass and acrylic End-of-Shift Clean-Up Clear workstations of debris and wipe down surfaces Sweep floor in your area and dispose of trash in designated bins Return unused materials and tools to designated storage areas Participate in department-wide clean-up protocols per Assembly SOPs Physical Requirements Ability to stand, reach, and move repetitively during a 10-hour shift Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a production environment Use of hands and fingers to operate tools and handle small components Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail Ability to follow verbal and written work instructions Strong work ethic, punctuality, and dependability Preferred Experience Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or production line work Familiarity with pneumatic and hand tools a plus Benefits Weekly pay Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance after 90 days 401(k) with company match after 1 year Up to 200 hours of PTO annually, including sick time (subject to accrual) Holiday premium pay (1.5x wage on designated holidays) Employee discount program for Craig Frames products Opportunities for advancement and cross-training
