Shift:
5:30 AM-4:00
PM Hourly Rate:
$19.50 an hour Reporting to the Production Team Leader, you will operate, monitor, and troubleshoot meat packaging equipment to support production operations for Duke's Meat Snacks at our Macomb, MI facility. You will help ensure safe, efficient production while maintaining quality standards, completing production documentation, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. A Taste of Your Responsibilities Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot packaging equipment to support production goals. Perform equipment changeovers, adjustments, and basic maintenance activities. Inspect products to ensure quality, food safety, and operational standards are met. Complete production, quality, and equipment documentation accurately. Maintain a clean and organized work area while following good manufacturing practices and sanitation requirements. Use computer systems to record production information and support daily operations. Support safety initiatives and continuous improvement efforts that enhance safety, quality, and efficiency. Ingredients Required for Your Success High school diploma or GED required. 1+ years manufacturing experience with mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot equipment issues. Basic computer skills, including data entry and production documentation experience. Strong focus on safety, quality, detail, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Physical Requirements More information on the essential tasks and facility will be shared during the hiring process. Please be aware that in a manufacturing environment, the noise levels can be high and the temperatures may vary. Depending on the role, physical and environmental requirements can differ but include: Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time. Performing consistent repetitive tasks. Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials. #
