Job Opportunity Kalkaska Screw Products is in need of Hydromat Machine Operators. We offer competitive wages and fantastic benefit packages. Job Description:
Tends transfer machines consisting of a series of stations connected by a transfer table. The machines transfer, position, and secure work pieces to perform machining operations such as drilling, turning, boring, tapping, and milling on metal work pieces: Inspects machined work pieces for surface defects and verifies conformance to specifications using measuring instruments such as fixed gauges, optical comparator, and checking fixtures. Enters dimensional and SPC data into software database. Changes tools when tools when worn or broken using wrenches and tool pre-setters. Washes and labels parts for next operations. Notifies supervisor of machine failure or serious malfunctioning. Experience with machining, micrometers and reading blueprints is a plus! Employees with a track record of good attendance, efficiency, and quality can advance quickly. Position Details
