Job Description
Briner The briner will report to the Production Manager/ Lab Tech / or Food Safety Manager Job Overview This position entails the mixing of our brine in red barrels for all products produced. You will be weighing ingredients and stirring brine until well mixed. Responsibillity includes set up, operating and tending machines to mix and blend materials according to work orders and recipe. Responsibilities and Duties Operate mixing equipment Follow recipe that you are provided. Read work orders to determine production specifications. Weigh out ingredients to mix brine to ensure conformance to requirements. Test samples of salt, sugar, and vinegar levels for accuracy and to ensure compliance with specifications, using test equipment. Record operational or production data on specified forms Dump or pour specified amounts of ingredients into machine or equipment Observe production or monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation Process ingredients according to formulas Add or mix ingredients for processing, using hand tools or other devices Transfer materials, supplies, or equipment between work areas using moving equipment or hand tools Cleaning out barrels once they have been emptied Clean up work area at end of day Qualifications Education level - entry Experience - team lead will train
