Lowe & Fletcher, Inc. is hiring an Assembly Associate to assemble and inspect parts used in industrial locking products.
Starting Pay:
$17.00 per hour
Schedule:
Full-time, first shift, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This position is a good fit for someone who values steady work, takes pride in doing the job correctly, and reports to work consistently and on time. The work includes repeated assembly processes, so you must be comfortable staying focused while performing similar tasks throughout the day. No manufacturing experience is required. We provide training. retirement plan What You Will Do Assemble parts and finished products by following written and visual instructions Use hand tools, assembly equipment, and computer-controlled equipment Inspect completed work for accuracy, appearance, and quality Record production quantities and time accurately Set up and check your workstation before beginning production Follow established safety and quality procedures Rotate among trained workstations based on production needs Communicate problems, defects, and equipment concerns to your supervisor What Success Looks Like You report to work consistently and arrive ready to begin on time You remain focused while performing repetitive assembly work You follow instructions without skipping steps You identify defects and correct mistakes before products move forward You maintain an appropriate production pace without sacrificing quality You work cooperatively with supervisors and coworkers Minimum Requirements Dependable and predictable attendance Ability to read and follow written and visual work instructions Basic computer skills, including logging in, entering information, and following on-screen instructions Basic math skills, including counting and recording quantities Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination Attention to detail Willingness to learn different workstations Ability to work occasional mandatory overtime when scheduled Previous assembly, manufacturing, tool, or machinery experience is helpful but is not required. Physical Requirements This position requires standing for extended periods, repeated use of the hands, and the use of tools and production equipment.
