Summary As a Wood Room Associate at Aluminum Blanking Company, Inc., you will play a vital role in supporting our operations by ensuring that materials are built and readily available for production. This position is essential to maintaining our high standards of quality and efficiency. Production of wooden pallets and skids to support necessary production on all lines.
Shift:
Monday through Thursday 5am-1:30pm and Friday 5am-1pmMUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK.
Potential for a $0.50 pay increase after successfully completing 30 days with good attendance and satisfactory job performance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Cut lumber to proper length using power hand or table saw.
- Read work orders or receive oral work instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
- Record number of units made using daily production sheets or tickets.
- Take measurements of material using tape measure.
- Assemble pallets using powered nail gun.
- Move lumber and completed pallets to work areas with use of forklift truck.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all Aluminum Blanking Employee Conduct and Work Rules; comply with all policies contained in the Employee Handbook, specifically pertaining to safety.
