Position Summary:
The Pre-Build Technician plays a key role in keeping the shop running efficiently. This position is responsible for staging truck bodies, unloading deliveries, and supporting pre-build work so technicians can stay on track. This is a hands-on, active role, and a great entry point for someone looking to grow into a full Technician position over time. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, mechanically inclined, and eager to learn. No prior experience is required; training is provided. What You'll Be Doing (Daily): Start the day by checking the notification board and grabbing your radio Complete and document daily P.I.T. (Powered Industrial Truck) inspections before operating equipment at the start of each shift. Pull and stage truck bodies needed for the day's builds Fuel and prep equipment as needed Begin pre-build work orders when available Unload incoming shipments and put materials away (this takes priority when trucks arrive) Maintain organization of the yard and storage areasAdditional Responsibilities:
Assist with field inventory as needed Occasional driving (pick-ups, drop-offs, or moving vehicles) Support technicians with installations when time allows Assist with paint prep and general shop needs Other duties as assignedWhat Success Looks Like:
Keeping the yard organized, materials where they need to be, and making sure the install team always has what they need ready to go without delays.What We're Looking For:

- No prior experience required
- Ability to follow instructions and written procedures
- Basic mechanical aptitude preferred
- Willingness to learn and work in a hands-on environment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Training & Equipment Provided:

- Training on proper use of hand tools (grinders, impacts, drills, etc.
