Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of machinery to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely. Your experience in mechanical systems, precision measurement, and manufacturing processes will be essential to maintaining our production standards. Duties Set up, operate, and monitor various manufacturing machinery including machines that automatically coil, form, stamps, wraps, etc. metal wire and strip following verbal and written instructions. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of parts. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and maintain quality control standards. Perform routine cleaning on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Assist in fabrication, tooling setup, welding, assembly line tasks, and packaging processes as needed to meet production deadlines. At shift start, check the first piece for compliance to specifications. Conduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to identify defects or deviations from specifications. Collaborate with team members on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality. Experience Proven factory or manufacturing facility experience with hands-on operation of metal forming machines. Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in machining techniques, fabrication, and processes. Experience reading blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models; proficiency in SolidWorks is a plus. Ability to use precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers accurately for quality assurance purposes. Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting machine issues. Familiarity with quality control standards and safety procedures within a manufacturing environment is essential.
