Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on beverage packaging equipment including conveyors, fillers, cappers, and labeling machines. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics, blueprints, and diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments. Diagnose issues with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems, HVAC/R components, and other automation controls to ensure optimal machine operation. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, maintenance history, and equipment performance data. Conduct welding (stick welding) and mechanical repairs using industrial mechanic skills to restore equipment functionality quickly and safely. Read electrical blueprints and schematics to identify faults and implement effective solutions aligned with engineering troubleshooting standards. Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities that minimize impact on manufacturing schedules while maintaining safety standards. Skills Extensive experience working within manufacturing facilities with a strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices. Proficiency in electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting electrical systems using tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, and schematics. Hands-on knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatic systems troubleshooting, and repair techniques. Skilled in mechanical repairs including precision measurement, welding (stick welding), and equipment repair techniques. Familiarity with HVAC/R systems and ability to perform HVAC/R diagnostics and maintenance tasks. Ability to read complex schematics and electrical blueprints accurately for troubleshooting purposes. Experience operating scissor lifts or other industrial lifting equipment safely in a manufacturing environment. Strong analysis skills combined with customer service mindset to effectively resolve issues while supporting production needs. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial control systems for automation troubleshooting. Experience with CMMS software for work order management and documentation of maintenance activities.
