In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient packaging of products while adhering to all safety and quality standards.
Job Summary:
Cannabis Production Technicians are directly involved in manufacturing our products from the first step to a final sale ready unit that will be distributed to dispensaries throughout the state and ultimately into the hands of our customers who will enjoy our top-of-the-line branded products. Duties/Responsibilities Weighing, stuffing, and rolling product Labeling, stickering and packaging finished goods
Required Skills/Abilities:
At least 21 years old per state law Ability to work well with others and independently Ability to learn and adapt to various strains, styles, and types of cannabis Ability to manage your time in a fast-paced environment to meet goals without sacrificing quality Ability to maintain a high standard of health and hygiene as required by OSHA Ability to follow basic instructions and be receptive to feedback/coaching from the management team to maintain product quality
Education and Experience:
HS Diploma or GED 1+ years' experience within a production or manufacturing position 1+ years' experience manufacturing consumable goods - preferred Must have working knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
Physical Requirements:
Must be physically capable for standing or sitting for long periods of time Must be able to lift up to 40lbs Must have full use of arms and fingers for fine manipulation of cannabis Must be capable of repetitive motion using hands and arms while working with cannabis Must be willing and able to wear all mandatory Personal Protective Equipment provided Maintain accuracy in inventory counts, reconciliations, and packaging outputs Success Looks Like Accurate, on-time completion of production work Clean and compliant workspaces and workflows Limited WIP (Work In Progress) and minimized material loss Well-maintained machines and minimized downtime Real-time communication with management and team Zero tolerance for avoidable defects or unaccounted loss Continual improvement mindset applied to workflow, materials, and throughput
