Job Information:

We are looking to hire a full-time Wire Processing Machine Operator responsible for the processing of various wires and cables used in the assembly of cable and wire harnesses. This position will work closely with the Production and Quality teams.

Position accountabilities include:

Set-up and operation of automated wire processing equipment such as Komax and Schleuniger machines to produce accurate results while minimizing scrap Reading and interpreting various manufacturing and engineering documents including work order instructions, assembly drawings, wiring schematics and diagrams and bills of materials Performing quality control measures by verifying and recording data on work orders Performing preventative and reactive maintenance on equipment to maximize equipment up-time Maintaining accurate inventory counts on all department materials Communicating effectively with other Production team members as needed to clarify instructions, processes and/or quality concerns Helping to meet customer delivery and quality specifications Keeping work area, equipment and tools organized and clean Contributing to other projects or tasks as assigned Contributing to and participating in continuous improvement initiatives to improve upon one's efficiency, scrap and yield metrics Candidates must possess: High School Diploma, or GED Good Math and Measurement skills Good mechanical/technical background Proficiency using precision measurement tools (ruler, tape measure, caliper) in order to check wire and strip lengths; ability to measure and interpret tight tolerances Strong attention to detail Familiarity with computers Ability to read and interpret drawings & schematics Strong desire to learn & grow, be challenged and serve Prior experience in manufacturing machine/equipment operation helpful, but not required Pay Range = $18.00 - $22/hr Full -
