POSITION SUMMARY

In this position reporting to the Machine Operator, the Machine Helper will be responsible for preparing molds, verification of mold dimensions, part setups for dimensional accuracy, confirming correct part quantities and for demolding completed parts. This position you may be required to support other areas of the facility as needed.

AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY

Performs tooling setups including mold/setup dimensional verification Perform demolding of cured parts Responsible for maintaining quality standards Responsible for maintaining productivity standards Responsible for maintaining housekeeping in area Ability to work as a team and handle multiple priorities Knowledge and understanding of Tandem's ISO policies and objectives. Ability to differentiate waste and hazardous material Responsible for confirming material conformity while product is still on production line Working knowledge of where material is stored Knowledge where to dispose of empty drums for either re-use or recycling Accepts other duties and assumes other responsibilities as assigned or as needs becomes apparent.

SPECIAL SKILLS/TRAINING/EXPERIENCES REQUIRED HS

Diploma or GED and 1-3 yrs of mfg process knowledge a plus Basic mechanical abilities a plus Ability to demonstrate and maintain high quality standards Ability to read tape measure, print, and process sheet Ability to multi-task with ability to prioritize Able to work independently or with others to get results Ability to use trimming tools to remove flash from parts

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
