59/hr starting pay Primarily responsible for feeding sheets of raw stock into a Rotary Die Cutting Machine Secondary responsibilities include assisting the machine operator in all aspects of set up and operation of the machine. This includes but is not limited to: Performing in-process inspections Meeting general workmanship guidelines for quality Accurate data collection into the Amtech PDC Meet production goals of the Company & quality requirements of our customers Act as an Assistant Machine Operator/Feeder for other machines as assigned Other job duties as assigned Must be willing and able to be trained to successfully fill in as the Operator in the event the Operator is absent. Must be able to perform these job requirements full-time, with frequent overtime hours as needed. Requirements Must be able to perform these job duties full time, with frequent overtime hours as needed Will adhere to all company policies within the plant including safety, fire, GMP's, and sanitation rules. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Preferred candidates are familiar with a corrugated or rigid box manufacturing plan, but on-the-job training is also available. Must be flexible with job duties assigned. The tasks assigned can and will change multiple times per day. Must be able to stand and walk short distances most of the shift. Must be able to perform frequent bending, stretching, squatting, reaching, climbing, pushing, & pulling for various tasks Must be able to retrieve and hang Print Plates and Dies, lifting them above chest height, and put them away prior to placing the next Plate or Die. Must be able to perform frequent lifting of up to 40 pounds with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Due to the size of the raw stock, must be able to lift and control large sheets of corrugated.
