Atlas Staffing has partnered with the leader in Digital Manufacturing! Our client is looking for entry Level operators to work in an environment that is centered around Culture and Diversity.

What You'll Be Doing:

Perform basic CNC machining tasks: milling, finishing, material handling.

• Operate CNC machine and equipment of limited complexity.
• Read production paperwork and follow production instructions and processes.
• Transport parts of fixtures.
• Retrieve and store materials from storage.
• Prepare material blocks for CNC milling and finishing operations.
• Clean and maintain milling machine centers - emptying chip bins, clean out chip debris, replenish coolant, maintain accurate lubricant.
• Support CNC operations with cleaning, filling, emptying, wiping, mopping.
• Adhere to all quality and safety standards within the department.
• Maintain clean and organized work area with emphasis on safety, quality, efficiency, and utilization.
• Continually seek to improve work processes and individual performance.
• Adhere to all company policies and operational procedures.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned. What makes you a great fit:
• Limited to no knowledge of CNC functional areas
• Ability to learn one or more machining tasks: milling, finishing, material handling
• Ability to help out and be productive where needed
• Ability to work safely with cleaning and other resources
• Positive and helpful attitude
• Ability to use chemicals in accordance with safety standards
• Ability to use measuring instruments such as scales and calipers
• Ability to use a computer and calculator
• Able to work safely with sharp tools/objects, such as but not limited to, hobby knives, utility knives, diagonal cutting pliers
• Able to read and write in English, and do basic arithmetic
• Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment
• Able to be punctual and have good attendance
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Regularly required to stand for the entire shift
• Use a computer keyboard, monitor, mouse, telephone, and printer
• Reaching, bending, grasping
