SUMMARY The Mixer is responsible for preparing and mixing the ingredients required for production assembly.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following: Correctly assemble ingredients. Follow blend sheets to ensure accurate product. Mix and blend ingredients to ensure consistent final product that matches customer specifications. Consistently practice sanitization processes. Operate all production equipment, including kettles, pumps, dye mixers and mills. Complete production paperwork accurately and timely. Adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). Adherence to SQF (Safe Quality Food). Adherence to all safety policies. Regular and predictable attendance. Maintain behaviors that support our
CORE VALUES.
Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
EXPERIENCE
FLUENT
IN ENGLISH, MUST READ, WRITE, SPEAK AND UNDERSTAND.
Previous experience working in a restaurant or food industry preferred. Basic math skills for measuring and calculating ingredient quantities. Mechanical knowledge to operate mixing equipment effectively. Culinary knowledge and understanding of different cooking techniques. Familiarity with kitchen tools, including knives, mixers, and other equipment. Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures. Able to communicate effectively Able to work in an efficient manner while performing repetitive hand motions Be multi-task oriented Able to stand for entire work shift Able to lift up 50+ pounds occasionally
