CNC Machine Operator Helper:

Pay up to 25/hr Open to level of experience Job Description The Machine Operator Helper supports multiple CNC router machine operators by loading and unloading parts and materials, following written instructions, and ensuring products meet quality standards. This role plays a key part in keeping production running smoothly by assisting with machine start-up, monitoring output, and documenting data and final reporting while actively looking for opportunities to improve processes. Responsibilities Assist multiple CNC router machine operators with daily production activities. Load and unload parts and materials from multiple CNC router machines in a safe and efficient manner. Help operators start machines and prepare equipment for production runs. Select correct parts and materials based on written directions and production documentation. Perform visual inspection of parts as they come off the machine to identify defects or quality issues. Document production data accurately and maintain clear records of work performed. Complete final reporting related to production runs, part counts, and quality checks. Look for ways to improve processes, efficiency, and product quality, and communicate suggestions to the team. Work effectively with a team while also performing tasks with limited supervision. Support both the machine area and the assembly area as needed to meet production demands. Essential Skills 1+ years of stable work history in a machine operation or general production environment. Experience working with machines in a manufacturing or production setting. Ability to follow written directions accurately when selecting parts and performing tasks. Ability to perform visual inspections and identify basic quality issues with parts. Capability to assist with machine operation, including loading and unloading parts. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple machine operators. Ability to work with limited supervision while maintaining productivity and quality. Willingness and desire to learn and grow within the company and manufacturing environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience setting up machines is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with CNC router machines is a plus. Work Environment The facility includes two primary areas separated by a wall: a complete assembly area and a machine area, and you will work in both environments as needed. The role involves working around CNC router machines and general production equipment, regularly handling parts and materials, and moving between machine operation tasks and assembly activities. You will work on-site in a hands-on manufacturing setting, collaborating closely with production teams in a structured, safety-focused environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chanhassen, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $27.00/hr.
