Schwieters Companies is hiring a full-time experienced Hand Sander/Wood Enthusiast in our Prefinish Department. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Correctly sand wood materials manually and with an electric sander Inspect all material for quality Stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift Have constant communication with department lead on progress with work orders Work together with a team throughout the warehouse to achieve maximum efficiency with 100% complete and on-time deliveries Pick material using a stand/sit forklift as needed Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Basic finishing knowledge preferred Must follow company quality standards and have great attention to detail Comfortable learning to operate a sander and a forklift Candidate must have a good work history Able to lift 50+ lbs. comfortably Self-motivated, self-directed team player and team builder Able to understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions, have good communication skills (verbal and written), and be detail oriented Capable of standing for extended periods of time Flexible in working overtime when necessary
