Our client is a growing manufacturing company in the New Hope area focused on producing quality molded components in a fast-paced production environment. They provide hands-on training and value dependable employees who are safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and willing to learn manufacturing and molding processes.Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Molding Machine Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in New Hope, MN. This entry-level position is responsible for operating molding equipment used to form materials into finished components according to established specifications and quality standards. The operator will load materials, monitor the molding process, remove completed parts, inspect products for defects, and perform basic trimming and finishing as needed. No previous molding experience is required, and training will be provided. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, attentive to detail, and comfortable working in a physically active manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor molding machines used to produce manufactured components. Load raw materials into molding equipment according to established procedures. Start and monitor machine cycles to ensure equipment is operating properly. Remove molded components from machines after each production cycle. Visually inspect molded parts for defects, incomplete molding, excess material, or other quality concerns. Trim, deburr, or remove excess material from finished molded components as needed. Separate acceptable and nonconforming parts according to quality procedures. Monitor production for consistency in part appearance, dimensions, and overall quality. Identify and report machine, material, or product quality concerns to the appropriate team member. Handle finished components carefully to prevent damage. Follow work instructions and established production specifications. Maintain accurate production and quality documentation as required. Keep molding equipment and surrounding work areas clean and organized. Follow all machine safety procedures and required workplace safety practices. Assist with additional production and manufacturing responsibilities as needed.Qualifications:
Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply; previous molding, machine operation, or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required. Willingness and ability to learn molding equipment and manufacturing processes. Basic mechanical aptitude preferred. Ability to read and write in English. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Basic arithmetic skills required. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects. Dependable with consistent attendance and a strong work ethic. Ability to follow detailed work instructions and established production procedures. Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a production team. Ability to stand for most of the workday. Ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Ability to frequently walk, bend, reach, carry materials, and perform repetitive movements. Ability to walk up and down steps while safely handling materials as required.Working Conditions:
Fast-paced molding and manufacturing environment. Regular exposure to molding machines, production equipment, raw materials, and finished components. Facility is not temperature controlled and may become hot during the summer months. Physically active position requiring frequent movement and material handling. Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn as required. Must consistently follow established machine operation and workplace safety procedures.About Vision:
