Responsibilities:
Set Up & Operate:
Prepare and operate punch press machinery (single-hit and progressive dies) according to job specifications.
Material Handling:
Load metal blanks or coils; align dies and feeds accurately.
Quality Assurance:
Perform basic machine adjustments, read blueprints/work orders, and use precision gauges to inspect finished parts.
Maintenance & Logs:
Assist with die changes, minor preventative maintenance, and record daily production/downtime logs.
Safety First:
Follow safety standards, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean workspace.
Skills:
Forklift experience or certification preferred.
Qualifications:
Background operating punch presses, stamping equipment, or similar manufacturing machinery. Strong mechanical aptitude, ability to read blueprints, and comfort using calipers, micrometers, and measuring tools. Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and stand for the duration of the shift.
