Job Description
Summary:
Candidate must know or have the ability to learn different materials to include 4140, leaded stock, keyed stock, different grades of material. Must also have experience in sawing a variety of materials; steel, aluminum, plastics, pipe, tubing, wood. Also understand saw techniques and saw blades.Responsibilities & Requirements:
- 2 years minimum experience preferred but will hire entry level
- Run various machines in fabrication
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Able to read blueprints and pay attention to details on blueprints
- Able to read a tape measure and calipers
- Strong communication skills
- Team player to ensure flow of jobs in an efficient manner
- Able to handle changing priorities on a daily basis
- Strong organizational skills
- Coordinate sawing and tube making between material handlers
- Speeds and feeds
- Hot and Cold saws
- Metal Cutting Semi-Automatic Bank Saw
- Must keep work area clean and organized Duties include but are not limited to: Must ability to lift 75 lbs
