Company Overview Legacy Building Solutions is a local manufacturing company specializing in steel rigid frame fabric structures. We serve a diverse range of industries, providing innovative building solutions for applications such as agricultural buildings, sports complexes, aviation facilities, and more. Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various fabrication and machining equipment to produce high-quality fabric structures. Your expertise will ensure efficient production processes, adherence to safety standards, and precise craftsmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing company that values innovation and teamwork. The hours for this position are typically Monday-Thursday 6AM-4:30PM. All applicants who are offered a position will need to take a pre-employment drug test and physical exam.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Read work orders or Pro nest programs and plan sequence of work.
  • Select cutting tips or other attachments. Install and align them.
  • Maintains accurate material inventory data and records accordingly throughout the day.
  • Selects proper materials per cut programs or instructions.
  • Handle and load metal onto machine
  • Secure work pieces and position guides, stops, or other fixtures.
  • Set controls for speed, feed rate, depth and angle, or pressure and temperature.
  • Clear jams and adjust settings. Alert supervisor of problems.
  • Measure finished work pieces to determine if they are the right size and inspect for defects. Use meters, gauges, and other precision instruments.
  • Handle and move materials and parts.
  • Repair and maintain mechanical equipment on a routine basis.
Determine when and what kind of maintenance or repairs are needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year CNC Equipment Experience
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
