Job Description

Wilkie Sanderson is a 100% employee-owned commercial millwork company based in Sauk Rapids with 45 years of experience. We are looking for a dependable and flexible Machining Operator to support our production team. This position will work throughout the Cutting Center and other areas of the shop as needed, operating equipment, moving materials, and helping keep production on schedule. Seven company paid holidays A hardworking, trusting, and fun culture What you'll do: Operate cutting center equipment to accurately cut wood panels and other materials. Load and unload materials and prepare components for the next stage of production. Read work orders, drawings, and measurements to ensure accurate cuts. Inspect materials and finished parts for quality and accuracy. Assist with material handling and organization throughout the shop Float between stations within the Cutting Center. Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe. Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance or safety concerns. Follow company safety procedures and production standards. What We're Looking For Manufacturing, woodworking, or millwork experience preferred. Ability to read measurements and follow work instructions. Comfortable working around woodworking machinery. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Reliable attendance and a willingness to help wherever needed. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to learn different equipment and production processes. Previous experience operating a CNC, saw, or other woodworking equipment is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk throughout the workday. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as needed. $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
