Job Title:

Machine Operator Job Description Operate production and packaging equipment according to standard operating procedures. Collaborate with team members, maintenance, quality, and supervision to meet production goals. Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing efforts. Responsibilities Set up, monitor, and adjust machinery for consistent product quality and efficiency. Assist with changeovers, minor troubleshooting, and routine equipment cleaning. Identify and report equipment issues, product defects, or safety concerns to leadership. Maintain a clean and organized work area before, during, and after production runs. Perform routine quality checks and document results accurately. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), HACCP, food safety, and sanitation requirements. Complete required production, downtime, safety, and sanitation documentation. Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements. Essential Skills Machine operation experience, preferably in food/chemical manufacturing. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical machinery issues. Experience in a production/manufacturing environment, ideally with GMP Experiences. Ability to lift up to 50 lb boxes/ingredients. Strong attention to detail and quality. Basic math, reading, and documentation skills. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn production equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Experience with mixing batches and blending. Experience using pallet jacks and metal detectors. Food manufacturing experience preferred. Dependable, punctual, and adaptable to changing production needs. Safety-focused mindset with strong accountability. Why Join? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.50/hr.
