Job Description

Extruder Operator - Night Shift Join our dynamic pet food manufacturing team at Diamond Pet Foods as an Extruder Operator! Opening is for Night Shift with working hours of 4:00 pm - 4:20 am. The Extruder Operator is responsible for producing pet food kibble according to precise specifications and managing product changeovers with minimal downtime. Other key duties include performing routine maintenance on equipment, troubleshooting quality issues, and ensuring consistent production standards. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to maintain high efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Rate:
$22.00 per hour Plus $2.50 per hour night shift differential

Must hold a valid driver's license. Successful completion of pre-employment screening (drug screen, background check, and physical.) Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds, climb, squat, bend, pull, push, and scrub in all directions.
Work Environment:
Work is performed indoors and outdoors near operating equipment, loud noises, and loose particles. Work performed requires employees to operate in all different temperatures/weather, dusty areas, confined spaces, and heights. Employees are required to wear a bump cap, hearing protection, safety shoes/boots, and safety glasses at all times.
