Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in laser cutting and sheet metal fabrication.

Duties:

• Set up and operate laser cutting machines to cut, trim, or form workpieces according to specifications
• Inspect workpieces for conformance with specifications using tools such as micrometers
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of workpieces
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment
• Utilize hand tools and measuring instruments effectively
• Operate a lathe for additional machining tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Proficiency in laser cutting operations
• Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication techniques
• Knowledge of tooling setup and maintenance
• Competency in using measuring tools like micrometers
• Experience operating a crane for material handling is a plus
