$1.00 Pay rate: $20.00/hr (Negotiable depending on experience) Join Sealed Air as a Press Operator in our St Joseph, MO facility and become part of a global leader in packaging solutions. In this role, you'll operate flexographic printing equipment to produce high-quality packaging materials while maintaining safety standards and production efficiency. This position operates in a manufacturing environment with exposure to typical production equipment and materials. The role requires working rotating shifts to support 24/7 operations. PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is provided and required. Key Responsibilities- Operate flexographic printing presses and related equipment to produce high-quality packaging materials
- Set up, adjust, and maintain printing equipment according to job specifications
- Monitor print quality and make necessary adjustments to ensure consistent output
- Perform quality checks and maintain detailed production records
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S principles
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality standards

Qualifications Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Mechanical and manufacturing experience is desired
- 1-3 years of experience operating flexographic printing equipment preferred, but not required
- Technical certification in printing technology or a related field is a plus
- Knowledge of color management and print quality standards
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret job specifications and technical documentation
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and 5S methodology
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Additional Requirements:
- Requires basic reading, writing, and math skills.
- Ability to pass a hue and color vision assessment.
- Able to work independently and instruct others as necessary.
- Able to follow instructions and make decisions based on data obtained.
- Computer knowledge: Word, Excel, SAP, and others.
