Responsibilities:
Participates in the efficient packaging of cannabis products during the post-production phase. This work may include, but is not limited to: Working closely with the Culinary and Processing departments on critical tasks at the facility. Accurately weigh and package products using a variety of packaging materials based on sales orders. Prepare all packaging materials, including bags, containers, and labels. Working as part of a team to meet production schedules. Ensure that all packages are labeled and identified correctly; resolve and escalate any issues to management. Assisting in the packaging process as required. Ensures assigned facility area is clean and safe. This work may include, but is not limited to Maintaining a clean workspace to prevent cross-contamination. Ensuring personal hygiene is acceptable under standards set by the company before performing any production activities; Ensuring that all packaging equipment is clean and maintained. Adhering to all company food safety policies and procedures; Maintaining correct sanitation for workspaces to mitigate the risk of cross-contamination; Checking and correcting any possible health code violations;Qualifications:
The following education, skills, and experience are required for this role: High School diploma or GED; Passion for medical cannabis; Ability to obtain a Missouri Agent ID by start date; Must be 21 years of age or older; Effective time-management skills; Ability to quickly learn and adapt in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment; Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. The following education, skills, and experience are preferred but not required for this role: Previous manufacturing experience with an understanding of operations; Knowledge of medical cannabis law and cannabis medicinal applications.Environment:
This position requires the ability to reach, bend, stoop, sit, stand, climb stairs and ladders, crawl into small spaces, walk on uneven terrain, endure extreme temperatures, manage personal exposure to numerous soil and air contaminants, carry and lift equipment up to 50lbs. The work environment is an environmentally controlled warehouse.Benefits Package:
