We are looking for a skilled all-around Embroidery Machine Operator & Digitizer to own the production process from artwork to finished stitch. In this role, you'll turn customer logos and designs into embroidery-ready files, prep and hoop garments, run our embroidery machines, and troubleshoot issues along the way. This is a great fit for someone who wants variety in their day and takes pride in seeing a project through from start to finish. Digitizing Collect and organize packing slips by garment type to prepare for digitizing Convert artwork and logos into embroidery machine stitch files using digitizing software Select appropriate stitch types and densities appropriate to the font and fabric Batch and upload stitch files to machines in order sequence Preparation & Hooping Perform daily machine maintenance (e.g., oiling per machine-specific instructions, replacing needles, cleaning) Hoop garments and fabric correctly in frames with proper alignment Select and apply appropriate stabilizer/backing based on fabric type and design Machine Operation Load hooped garments onto multi-head embroidery machines and program designs Monitor stitching throughout each run for quality and accuracy Manage thread supply, including bobbin replacement Troubleshooting & Workflow Management Identify and resolve thread breaks, tension issues, and other common machine problems Make minor machine adjustments to keep production on schedule Maintain batch schedules to support smooth handoffs between team members Communicate with production staff on team needs, order priorities, and deadlines Qualifications Experience with digitizing software preferred Prior experience operating embroidery machines (single-head or multi-head) Understanding of stitch types, thread weights, and stabilizer selection for different fabrics Strong attention to detail and quality Comfortable troubleshooting mechanical issues independently Ability to manage multiple steps of a project without heavy supervision Reliable, organized, and able to work efficiently under deadlines
Pay:
