Job Summary:
The General Factory Worker is responsible for performing various tasks to support the production and manufacturing processes. This includes operating machinery, assembling products, maintaining a clean work environment, and ensuring that production goals are met efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor machinery and equipment according to safety guidelines. Assemble, pack, and inspect products for quality assurance. Follow standard operating procedures and production schedules. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Perform routine maintenance and report mechanical issues to supervisors. Assist in loading and unloading raw materials and finished products. Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets. Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Previous experience in a manufacturing or factory setting is an advantage. Ability to operate basic hand tools and machinery. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Basic math and measurement skills. Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to [X] lbs. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends or overtime as required.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Exposure to loud noises, chemicals, and varying temperatures. Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
