/ Pirouline Madison, MS Job Details Full-time $15•$18 an hour 17 hours ago Qualifications Team leadership Shop math High school diploma or GED Machine operation safety procedures Full Job Description Definition and Nature of the Work This position performs a variety of tasks within Madison Tin, with special attention toward fork truck and machine operation. The position is responsible for the day-to-day operation of machinery, packaging and labeling finished product, and general plant duties. An ideal candidate will be eager to work, learn new tasks, and fast paced. This position requires an individual that can flourish in a fast-paced environment. The position requires discipline and organization. Candidates must pay attention and ask relevant questions when problems arise.
EXPECTATIONS
Complete company's forklift certification Safely Operate Fork Truck Assure accurate counts and product labeling Loading machinery with proper product Safe and proper slitter set up and operation Use proper tools to verify material is cut within designated tolerances Complete production documents Load and unload shipments Keep material organized Pull material as needed Keep work area clean and organized Fill in for other positions as needed Wear proper PPE Safely operate machinery Wrap pallets Pack off product Assist with Change Overs Assist in Quality Assurance Maintain clean and safe working environments No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. All other directives assigned by supervisors and managers
Primary Responsibilities:
Sheet fed press set up and operation Fork Truck Operation Change Overs (in a timely manner). Basic PM on the machines listed. Accurately maintaining the production log. Keeping accurate, legible paperwork. Maintain safety switches on machines (must be in working condition). Ensure machine fixes are within the OEM standard. Keep work area clean at all times. Meet production goals. Document waste and communicate findings with supervisor/manager. Propose solutions to eliminating waste areas. Ensure the quality of the product according to the standards set forth by the company. Responsible for any additional duties, or responsibilities, designated by manager. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Team player. Problem solving skills. Leadership skills. Able to clearly and accurately document issues and offer a resolution to them. Able to clearly and accurately document downtime and offer resolutions. Attention to detail. Work safely. Well-organized. Knowledge of manufacturing and safety procedures. Friendly but professional. Communicate clearly and efficiently. Ability to think creatively and innovatively. Capable of multitasking. Follow verbal directions/instructions. Minimum requirements High School Diploma/GED Ability to lift 50 + lbs.•Stand for long periods of time
REASONING ABILITY
•Requires basic analytical skills. Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations.
MATHEMATICS KNOWLEDGE
Requires basic knowledge of arithmetic or the ability to calculate simple figures.

$15.00 to $18.00 / Hour Based on manufacturing job knowledge and experience
