Job Description
Summary This position plays a critical role in the seasonal set up and take down of tents and furnishings at all Under Canvas locations. This position is a seasonal position and 100% travel based. The position reports directly to the Camp Set Up Supervisor. The Camp Set Up Technician is part of the set up team that will travel to Under Canvas resort locations and perform the physical work of building or dismantling the tents, interior walls, furnishings, and associated assets on a seasonal basis. Locations will vary depending on business need. Key Responsibilities Active team participant in the physical work of setting up and taking down Under Canvas Resort locations; to include set up of tents, outfitting decks, raising interiorwallsandfurnishingtent interiors Assist with tent maintenance
- may include snow removal, and other inclement weather challenges
- hours may vary Manage personal timecard, clocking in and out of shiftsin accordance with company policy Participate in any crew training curriculum and certification program Respectfully live with coworkers in team member housing and adhere to all company and external rental agencies' rules and policies during residency Think critically to respond and react quickly to ever changing situations Able to problem solve to resolve issues safely and efficiently Professional in all internal and external communications Prioritize tasks effectively Participate in team meetings Submit high qualitywork productsin a timely manner Other duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Minimum 2 years of construction experience Strong knowledge of construction operations and equipment Goal-oriented, results-driven, strong interpersonal and communication skills Communicate in a clear and professional way Interact with a friendly, enthusiastic, positive attitude Demonstrate sound judgement, follow direction, and take decisiveappropriate action Learn, embrace, and train team on company policies, practices, and procedures Strong organizational skills to execute and prioritize multiple tasks Any industry related certification will be considered an advantage Additional Information This position is fully outdoors•ability to work in extreme weather conditions including but not limited to heat, cold, rain, snow, humidity, and wind.
