Job DescriptionJOB DETAILSBase pay starts at $26.00 per hourDuties and ResponsibilitiesThe Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating heavy machinery and related gauges to perform various cutting, punching, forming, blocking, and processing operations. They must have a thorough knowledge of production techniques and the ability to produce quality-building components and parts.
Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damage Assist co-workers and customersInspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipmentAssist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP systemMaintain a clean and orderly work environmentAssist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areasComply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipmentPerform routine preventive maintenance, adjustments, and lubrication on equipment and production tools as required to maintain proper operation.
QualificationsMust be at least eighteen (18) years of ageHigh school diploma or GED requiredPace

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication abilities.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items, often requiring the use of equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Ensuring orders are processed accurately and inventory is managed correctly.
- Efficiently organizing stock and maintaining a clean workspace.
- Collaborating with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.
