They will communicate with machine operator and supervision as needed for necessary changes. Essential Responsibilities Inspects and assures quality of moulding/parts at "outfeed" end of moulders and embossers. Ensures proper placement of labels on product as it is being inspected. Notifies machine operator of any quality issues related to machine operations. Informs group leader and plant manager of quality issues related to labels and wood parts. Follows specific directions as defined on route sheets. Performs other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications (Required) Must be 18 years of age or older. High School Diploma and GED Must be able to read a tape measure. Effectively performs all essential functions, including physical requirements. Effectively uses required PPE and company approved tools with awareness of surroundings and potential safety hazards while maintaining a safe work area. Demonstrates the ability to safely manage awkward product lengths and weights. Capability to read, comprehend and execute verbal commands, written procedures, basic math skills and standard work instructions. Must be able to maintain work pace required to achieve production demands and complete required paperwork. Follow all safety rules and guidelines according to OSHA standard and company policies. Flexibility in scheduling - able to work overtime as needed. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in manufacturing environment. Prior experience operating woodworking equipment with proven safety record. Able to withstand exposure to seasonal weather elements and wood dust. 100%: Stand, handle or feel, squeeze or grasp. 80%: Reaching with hands and arms, depth perception. 50%: Walk, repetitive motion, operate moving equipment. 10%: Working bent at waist, climbing, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, bending or twisting. Lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. without assistance. Lift, push or pull 75-100 lbs. with assistance.
