Job Description

Machine Operator - Arden - 2nd
Shift Compensation:
Up to $16.00/hr.
Shift/Working Hours:
2nd shift 3:00 PM-11:00 PM Monday-Friday PrideStaff is partnering with a manufacturing company located in Arden to find dedicated Machine Operators for their Day Shift operations. In this role, you will be responsible for visually inspecting products for defects and packaging items directly from the presses during production to ensure high-quality standards.
What You Will Do Package and Label:
Check specific packaging instructions to count or weigh-count products accurately and apply correct labels to boxes.
Quality Inspection:
Perform "pour-ups" on automatic machines by fully inspecting mold shots and removing runners, strings, or loose plastic before packaging.
Technical Operations:
Respond timely to press alarms, complete secondary operations like assembly or welding, and insert pins or disks into molds for over molding as required.
Maintain Standards:
Record scrap hourly, notify supervisors of malfunctions, and maintain a clean, orderly work area in accordance with ISO9001 and safety standards. What You Will Bring The ability to stand for the duration of a 12-hour shift and lift up to 50 pounds. The ability to perform basic math and use various gauges and fixtures effectively.
