Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Packaging Operator, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe packaging of high-quality faux botanical products. As a Packaging Operator, you will be responsible for operating packaging machinery, handling materials with precision, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment to support our commitment to excellence. Responsibilities Operate packaging machines and related equipment to package products accurately and efficiently. Use material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to move raw materials and finished goods safely within the production area. Conduct quality checks during packaging processes to ensure products meet GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards and safety protocols. Follow safety procedures diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and adhere to all safety standards in production environments. Assist with setup, cleaning, and maintenance of packaging machinery using hand tools and basic machining skills. Document production data accurately, including quantities packaged, machine performance logs, and safety inspections. Requirements Prior experience operating packaging machines or similar industrial equipment in a manufacturing or food production setting is preferred. Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic issues with machinery and perform minor repairs. Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments, including GMP compliance and PPE use. Basic math skills for measuring, counting, and recording production data accurately. Familiarity with hand tools, machining processes, and industrial troubleshooting techniques is advantageous. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects safely, and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
