Vinmar Recycling Solutions is seeking a skilled and dedicated Plastics Manufacturing Extruder Operator to join our team in Belmont, NC. As an Extruder Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production of plastic products by setting up, operating, and maintaining extrusion machines. Your expertise will ensure that production runs smoothly and efficiently while adhering to quality standards. You will be responsible for monitoring the extrusion process, making necessary adjustments, and troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise. Additionally, you will work closely with team members to ensure that production goals are met and safety protocols are followed. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of the extrusion process, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to quality and safety. Responsibilities Set up and operate extruder machines to produce plastic products according to specifications. Monitor the extrusion process, making adjustments as needed to ensure product quality. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and materials to detect any issues. Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform routine maintenance. Maintain accurate production records and report any discrepancies. Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet production targets. Adhere to safety standards and company policies throughout the production process. This position has a schedule of 4-10 hours shifts, Monday through Thursday. Shift A - 7:00am to 5:00pm; Shift B - 5:00pm to 3:00am. #VRS Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in plastics manufacturing preferred. Proven experience as an Extruder Operator or similar role in the plastics industry. Strong understanding of the extrusion process and related machinery. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when needed.
