Job Description

Second Shift Monday night through Friday 4:00 pm to midnight
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for taking finished rolls from U14 Extruder and preparing for storage and for wrapping finished pallets of pots and trays. Also responsible for wrapping finished pallets of KAPSTO parts.
Essential Functions:
Comply with all company and statutory safety rules and work to keep all departmental employees safe Assist with start-up and shut down of equipment Prepare pallets for extruded rolls, set up boxes to be wrapped and stage near wrap station Remove products from machine Examine the product quality, report off quality issues to operator or setup technician Correctly wrap products using the correct wrap program Deliver wrapped products to dock for transfer to Catawba Warehouse and scan into inventory system Assist fellow employees with breaks and job tasks as needed Drive powered industrial truck (Forklift) and maintain license
Required Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) One year manufacturing experience required Forklift experience/license preferred (or ability to learn)

Work area may be loud, dusty, repetitive, and fast paced.

Ability to lift 50+lbs consistently. Ability to bend and twist on a regular basis. Ability to climb stairs and ladders when necessary.. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.
