Job Description We are currently seeking to hire a Blending Technician II in our Liquids production area. This person will be responsible for processing and blending liquid products, with attention to quality and efficiency. They will also provide a system of checks and balances in the Liquid Processing Department. This position reports to the Liquid Processing Supervisor and has no direct reports.
Job Duties:
- Responsible for setting up daily brewing production elements, including cleaning and sanitizing brewing equipment before and after each use.
- Pours coffee or tea into the processors, adding the correct amount of acid and ingredients as necessary.
- Maintains lot traceability and documentation
- Verifies product tags to ensure that the correct item is selected to be processed.
- Oversees the brewing process ensuring accuracy and quality are maintained
- Records the PH level, temperature and duration or brewing
- Verifies charts at the end of the shift, making sure that the peak temperature recordings are correct.
- Follows brew sheet into the lab and utilizes the BRIX reader.
- Conducts taste tests of liquid products.
- Weighs all ingredients in the Liquid Processing Department.
- Conducts clean in place (CIP) procedures at the end of the day, using chemicals to wash, rinse, and sanitize the liquid processors.

Shift
12 Hour Night
Qualification High School or GED required
1-2 years blending experience preferred
1-2 years chemical experience (familiarity with chlorine, citric and lactic acid, etc.) preferred
Knowledge of weights, measures, scales and calibration required
Must be forklift and pallet jack certified
Ability to walk/stand for the entire shift
Ability to work overtime when necessary
