Job Description

Royal Threads is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Embroidery Machine Operator to join our fast-paced production team. This position is ideal for candidates who have prior experience in high-volume production environments and hold a high school diploma or equivalent. We are looking to elevate the level of talent and performance in our embroidery department.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday First Shift 6AM to 2:30PM, Second Shift 2PM to 10:30PM Saturdays during high season, same hours as weekdays. Overtime can result in extended weekday or Saturday hours
Wage Progression & Career Growth:
Starting Wage:
$16.00/hour (includes training period) Wage Increase to $17.00/hour upon meeting minimum production target of 30 quality units per hour for 30 consecutive days Promotion to Embroidery Lead ($18.00/hour) available after 90 days of consistent performance and completion of peer training test, production targets must be met consistently for a minimum of 90 days with zero error rate
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate multi-head embroidery machines with proper threads, needles, and materials Interpret design specs and ensure proper placement and alignment Inspect completed products and address any errors or defects immediately Perform machine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting Accurately hoop and prepare garments for embroidery Keep detailed records of settings, inventory, and completed orders
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED (Required) Minimum 6 months of experience in a fast-paced production environment (Required) Embroidery or sewing experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and ability to meet hourly production targets Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks Effective communication skills and teamwork Reliable transportation Lift 50 lbs multiple times daily
