A Manufacturing Machine Operator operates machinery used in a manufacturing facility, including a range of machines used for the production or transport of goods.
Available first, second, and third shifts Shift type: Flexible, single-day opportunities through the Veryable app Work location: In person in Fletcher, NC Put your metalworking, welding, machining, or industrial manufacturing experience to work at an axle manufacturing facility. After completing the required onboarding and orientation, you can use the Veryable app to view and bid on available shifts that fit your schedule. There is no fixed weekly schedule or minimum weekly commitment.
Shift Options First shift:
7:00 AM start, $17.50 per hour Second shift: 3:15 AM start , $18.50 per hour Third shift: 11:15 PM start, $18.50 per hour Shifts include a 30-minute unpaid break On-time arrival is required for all shifts Available shifts vary, and submitted bids are reviewed by the business What You Will Do Perform axle housing assembly, metal forming, welding, and cutting Operate and adjust manufacturing equipment, fixtures, and tooling Use calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other precision instruments Follow written manufacturing instructions and quality-control procedures Monitor product dimensions and identify nonconforming material Complete approved rework or repairs when needed Perform preventive maintenance Maintain a clean and safe work area What You Need Previous metalworking, welding, machining, or industrial manufacturing experience Basic math skills, including fractions, decimals, algebra, and metric measurements Ability to lift 20 to 40 pounds Ability to perform repetitive hand motions Ability to stand for the length of the shift Steel-toed shoes Smartphone for app check-in and check-out Must be at least 18 years old Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Getting Started Apply through Indeed and provide your relevant work experience Create your Operator profile in the Veryable app Complete the required background check Complete a drug screening provided at no cost to you Complete W-2 onboarding Complete the required 1.5-day facility orientation Once cleared, view and bid on available shifts in the Veryable app Pay Information This is a flexible W-2 employment opportunity through the Veryable platform. Standard payroll taxes and other required deductions will be withheld. Payroll is processed on business days, Monday through Friday. Payment is initiated two business days after a completed shift. Weekend shifts begin processing on the next business day. Your bank may take additional time to make the funds available.
