Overnight Copper Plating Machine Operator (Ground Rod Division)

$19/hr + $1 shift differential ($20/hr total)

Shifts:

7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (2-2-3 Rotation) | 7:00AM-7:00PM (2-2-3 Rotation) We're hiring for a key role in the Ground Rod Division at a leading manufacturer in Harrisburg. This position focuses on operating the Copper Plating Machine and preparing finished copper rods for shipment. Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain copper plating equipment to process ground rods Perform quality inspections and adjust settings to meet production standards Chamfer, band, label, and prep rods for final shipment Conduct machine cleanings and perform both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all safety procedures and participate in routine safety inspections Complete order forms and production documentation accurately Work 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule (includes weekends and potential overtime)

Requirements:

At least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced production or manufacturing setting Minimum 1 year of machine operating experience . Ability to manage time effectively and juggle multiple tasks Self-starter with strong attention to detail and urgency Team-oriented and dependable with a positive work ethic

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

Exposure to wet and hot conditions, fumes, chemicals, and industrial noise Indoor and outdoor work on a variety of surfaces, including uneven terrain Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly Requires standing, walking, and moving for long periods Ready to Join the Team?
