$21.28Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operates equipment to produce finished goods to production specifications.
- Ability to safely STOP equipment during normal conditions and during an emergency.
- Sets machine up to SOC using the appropriate conditions.
- Uses a computer system to set run conditions and adjusts as necessary within SOC.
- Performs line start up and line shut down.
- Understands and safely operate equipment.
- Follows all training documents or standard operating procedures (SOP) to operate the line safely and efficiently.
- Uses production reporting systems to fulfill job functions.
- Safely operates lab equipment.
- Understands all quality lab equipment and is able to operate and adjust as necessary to safely test film samples. Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
- Strong mechanical aptitude is desired.
- Ability to make sound decisions and follow guidelines.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
- High awareness toward safety.
- Ability to solve problems and apply critical thinking.
- Able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team.
- College-level courses or trade school preferred, but not necessary.
- Ability to operate cranes, forklift, and other related equipment.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent standing, walking, and bending.
- Pushing, pulling, lifting at least 40lbs.
- Eye/hand coordination.
