Job Description

Overview We are seeking a motivated Aerospace Composite Technician Trainee to join our advanced manufacturing facility. This entry-level position is suited for individuals interested in starting a career in aerospace composite fabrication, and assembly. The role provides an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills in a dynamic environment focused on high-precision composite components and aerospace materials. A successful candidate must be self-motivated and looking to grow in their technical skills and product knowledge, with the mindset to grow their career with the company. Duties Assist in the fabrication and assembly of aerospace composite parts using hand tools and fabrication equipment Under direct or indirect supervision, perform layup, mold prep, cutting/kitting, trim and assembly operations on aerospace composites as needed Handle materials safely within the manufacturing environment, including materials handling and packaging of finished components Support tooling setup and maintenance for various fabrication equipment Participate in safety protocols, factory procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives related to manufacturing processes Experience Basic understanding of manufacturing or factory environments preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with mechanical concepts, blueprint reading, and precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers is advantageous Experience with hand tools, custom fabrication work, or manufacturing operations is beneficial Knowledge of materials handling, fabrication techniques, and tooling is desirable Strong attention to detail with basic math skills necessary for daily work Prior experience in aerospace or manufacturing facilities will be considered an asset but is not mandatory This position is ideal for individuals eager to learn advanced manufacturing techniques within the aerospace industry. Candidates should demonstrate mechanical aptitude, safety awareness, and a willingness to develop technical expertise through hands-on training.
Pay:
From $18.00 per hour
