Job Description

Position Summary:
The responsibilities of this position include operation of the jet dye machine and extractor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Adhere to all Seiren safety and quality standards Prepare dyestuff and chemicals Load and unload jet machines Operate jet dye machines (inputting dyes and chemicals, sampling, setting, etc.) Input fabric to extractor and removal of fabric from extractor Operation of extractor Cut samples of each dyeing Perform other duties as required in supporting departmental goals
Qualifications:
High school degree or equivalent preferred Should have at least 1 year of work-related experience Must have ability to follow detailed instructions Must have good written communication skills Must have good verbal communication skills Must have good low-level decision-making skills Very important to have ability to work well without close supervisio n

This position will work in a plant environment where there will be a moderate noise level. The employee will sometimes work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals.
