Position Overview We are looking for experienced Machine Operators as we continue to add new products, machinery, and production lines. The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment used in the manufacturing and packaging of food products. This position ensures products are produced safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality, food safety, and company standards. Positions are available on various shifts. Responsibilities Operate food processing and packaging machinery according to established procedures. Set up equipment for production runs, including adjustments and changeovers. Monitor machine performance and production output to ensure efficiency and product quality. Inspect products and packaging for defects, consistency, and compliance with specifications. Perform routine equipment cleaning and sanitation following food safety requirements. Conduct basic preventive maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues. Record production data, downtime, quality checks, and operational information accurately. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), HACCP, FDA, USDA, and company food safety guidelines as applicable. Safely handle raw materials, ingredients, and finished products. Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, and quality issues to supervisors promptly. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Assist with inventory management and material movement as required. Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and maintenance teams to meet production goals. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of 5 years of previous manufacturing, production, or machine operation experience preferred. Food manufacturing experience is a big plus. Ability to read and understand work instructions, safety procedures, and production documents. Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to perform mathematical calculations related to production measurements and counts. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Skills Good Mechanical aptitude Food Safety knowledge (i.e.
