Assistant Machine Operator
  • Night Shift $19.00/Hour | 7:00 PM

We're looking for mechanically inclined individuals with machine operating experience to join our overnight production team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with equipment, takes pride in producing quality work, and understands the importance of safety and efficiency in a manufacturing environment. Position Overview As an Assistant Machine Operator, you will support production operations by assisting with machine performance, product quality, material handling, and equipment readiness. Your efforts will help keep production running efficiently while minimizing downtime and waste. Key Responsibilities Assist in the operation of high-speed production equipment Support machine setups, adjustments, and product changeovers Monitor product quality and report any issues immediately Help troubleshoot minor machine issues and clear equipment jams Stage materials and maintain a continuous flow of production Perform routine quality checks and inspections Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all company safety policies and manufacturing procedures Work collaboratively with operators and production personnel to achieve daily production goals Qualifications At least 1 year of machine operating or manufacturing production experience Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to recognize and respond to equipment or production issues Comfortable working in a hot, dusty industrial environment Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout a 12-hour shift Ability to lift at least 75 pounds occasionally Dependable attendance and strong commitment to workplace safety Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow What You'll Gain Competitive starting pay plus night shift differential Full-time, stable employment Consistent 2-2-3 schedule with every other weekend off Hands-on experience with industrial manufacturing equipment Opportunities to advance into Machine Operator and other production leadership roles A workplace that values reliability, teamwork, and continuous improvement Who We're Looking For This opportunity is best suited for candidates who have experience working around production machinery, enjoy hands-on work, and aren't afraid of a physically demanding environment.
