DUTIES AND

RESPONSIBILITIESProvide customer responsive and efficient manufacturing support activitiesComplete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damagePerform routine preventive maintenance and daily equipment inspections.

Assist co-workers and customersQuality and Safety Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipmentAssist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP systemMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company safety policies.

Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areasAssist with inventory control and material tracking when necessary.

Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipmentFollow all OSHA, company safety, and quality procedures at all times.

QualificationsMust be at least eighteen (18) years of ageHigh school diploma or GED requiredVerifiable Dependability and EnergeticRequires experience with hand tools, wrenches, banding equipment, and nail gunsAble to read a tape measure and other measuring devicesA combination of education and experience may be qualifyingAbility to lift up to 25 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waistMust be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead craneFlexible with working overtime and weekends when needed

 6914 Hwy 2, Oak Grove, LA 71263This is a position with the potential overtime. The shifts are 8 hours, 10 hours, and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year.
