Monday-Thursday, 4:30pm-3:00am (10-hour shifts)

Pay:

$17-$20 per hour, depending on experience

Type:

Full-time, temp-to-perm A leading aluminum casting facility in Spruce Pine is seeking Machine Operators to support its advanced lost foam process. In this role, you will help manufacture and finish high-quality cast-aluminum parts in a safety-focused, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate grinders and other hand or power tools to process cast-aluminum parts Inspect finished parts for defects or discrepancies, ensuring only quality products are sent out Follow process sheets and standard operating procedures accurately Maintain production goals and complete orders on schedule Keep equipment and work areas clean, safe, and well-maintained Assist with training new team members as needed Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members to resolve any issues

Qualifications & Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent required Comfortable using various hand tools and operating machines Basic computer skills (data entry, reading instructions, etc.) Detail-oriented with strong visual inspection skills Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or in a team Good communication and ability to follow both written and verbal instructions Physically able to stand for long periods and lift or move objects up to 50-70 pounds How to
